$20 Mani and Pedi in Manhattan?

It’s been 9 years since I stumbled on a little gem of a nail salon called Annie Ji’s. I remember walking through Kipps Bay in a rush to meet a friend. In a hurry, I scanned building numbers looking for hers when all of a sudden it jumped out at me. A sign read “mani/pedi $15.” I slowed down. My friend could wait a few more minutes. I must have misread it. It was probably $15 for just the pedicure. I went inside and inquired from Annie herself. “Yes,” she said. “Monday through Thursday mani-pedi is $15 and $18 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.” I was sold.

I’ve been a customer of Annie Ji’s for the past 9 years. The salon now charges $20 for a mani and pedi Monday through Thursday. It’s a steal! Standard manicures and pedicures typically cost $25 on the inexpensive side to $35 in the city. It’s a small salon with 2 pedicure stations and 3-4 manicure stations. The staff is friendly and establishment clean. Annie Ji’s follows New York state’s guidelines on COVID-19 prevention. Shields between customers and nail technicians have been implemented and appointments are required.

I don’t know a woman who doesn’t love a manicure and pedicure. If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to keep up maintenance I suggest Annie Ji’s. To learn more click here.
