Gorgeous Geode Cake

Every now and then I run into a business or brand that blows my mind. In light of the racial tensions our country has witnessed in 2020 Americans have gathered in support of our African-American brothers and sisters. A colleague invited me to join a Facebook group called “Black Owned New Jersey.” I’m a firm believer in activism and believe it can be done in many more ways than just protesting. Supporting black-owned businesses, signing petitions, and donating to reputable organizations are just some of the many ways one can support the Black Lives Matter movement.

I was extremely excited to meet Lindsay Nazon a Haitian-American business owner and cakemaker for Sugar Finesse. Lindsay creates the most delicious and beautiful dessert concoctions ranging from cupcakes to cakes. I had the pleasure of receiving this complimentary cake and booking Sugar Finesse for my birthday.
